Zach discovered his love of the drums at age 2 - when he started banging on the drum kit in his basement that was used when his Dad's band rehearsed there.

A year and a half later, he was actually able to sit in on  a few songs. At the age of 6, his talent was recognized by recording artists and music educators Tim Bender and Elise Letourneau, and he was invited to sit in on two songs during one of their concerts, during which he also took part in a jazz improvisation.

He then sat in numerous times with his Dad's band, Serious Jones - and played drum solos at a number of open mic night and talent shows.

During the summer of 2006, he met and started to jam with another 10 year old musical prodigy, guitar wiz Cole Navasky - and the duo sat in with Serious Jones as well as with their fathers at a number of live shows.

Later that summer, the duo hooked up with yet another 10 year old talent, bassist and vocalist Ethan Clark and formed GENERATION Z.

Together the trio won the Philipsburg Heritage Days talent competition. Later that summer the Gunz were special guests of Legendary Classic Rockers .38 Special at their concert in Lancaster, PA where they got to hang out on the tour bus, backstage, and actually do the sound check for the band!

In 2007, the boys landed a real catch with Wyatt Inlow, who not only brings his powerhouse vocals, but added his piano and keyboard skills to the bands sound.

Zach likes a lot of today's music, but his favorite bands are the Beatles, Rush, and Genesis - and he gets a lot of his drumming technique from Neil Peart and Phil Collins.

Besides being a percussion fanatic, some of Zach's other hobbies include soccer, football, video games, and hanging with friends. He enjoys reading Calvin and Hobbes comics and likes to draw his own comic strips.
